The Fils du Roy Distillery was born out of a family reunion in 2011, where the idea of starting a distillery was launched. The main objective was to offer excellent quality spirits at an affordable price to New Brunswickers. With a passion for distillation spreading through the family, a second distillery was created in Quebec, allowing flagship products to cross the border and new products to emerge. The small family distillery grows several ingredients, ensuring unique tastes in local products, with the climate of the Bas-St-Laurent playing a significant role in the taste and personality of the different spirits.
The distillery offers a diverse range of products, including beers, whiskies, gins, and liqueurs, with knowledgeable staff sharing their passion and expertise, making for a charming and worthwhile visit.
Absolutely awesome experience. Sebastien and his wife gave us a tour, we talked about everyhting from their humble beginnings to their current projects and future plans. Tasted all sorts of beers and liqueurs. Also they toast excellent coffee. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the region.
The distillery offers free parking options, including a lot and street parking, with wheelchair-accessible entrance and parking.

"text": "They did a tasting for us, even though it was early in the season and they're not doing tours yet. We have visited a LOT of distilleries, in the US and Scotland, and the spirits at Fils du Roy are among the best we've had. We bought a gin and a whiskey, and could easily have bought others. This is a family distillery, and the woman who did our tasting was very knowledgeable and gave us the history, etc. This is well worth visiting.",

I make a trip every year to buy afew bottles and see what else they have, and whenever a friend or family member go anywhere close to here I throw money at them until they promise to get me a bottle.",

"text": "So much beers as there are liquors and spirits - very diversified stock. I visited there website and was delighted to found out they were open during off season. We arrived at their opening, they were easy to found with Google maps and GPS. We sample quite a few items and bought a few products.\n\nIt's family-owned which makes it even more charming. We didn't have the opportunity to visit the distellery itself because they were getting a special delivery that morning which they apologize and we understood completely. Thank you et vous méritez tout le succès que vous avez!",
