Ferme du Tarieu is a fourth-generation agricultural business that combines the work of the land with the passion for brewing and distilling. The farm's brewery is situated in a traditional French-style grange, where the team crafts artisanal beers using local ingredients grown on their lands. With over 50 tons of barley harvested annually, Ferme du Tarieu offers a range of beers that showcase the terroir and savoir-faire of Quebec. From session IPAs to stouts and saisons, each beer is a reflection of the farm's commitment to using local ingredients and traditional techniques.
The distillery offers a great beer selection, including flights, and a beautifully decorated restaurant with a patio. The food, such as burgers, is delicious and comes with generous portions, making it a worthwhile stop with a pleasant atmosphere and good music.
We were leaving Québec City. On our way to Montreal and Lia was lucky enough to find this place. It’s fairly close to Trois Rivières and just off the highway so super accessible from Highway number 40. You’ll see it as you exit the highway there’s a big red barn which essentially is the restaurant. They have a patio off to the side. Inside the restaurant is great with a high ceiling beautifully decorated pretty much everywhere you look. They have a really good beer selection. You can order the 5 ounce the glass or a pint. They also do flights of four beers. Food wise we ordered the hamburger which was absolutely delicious and the chicken burger, which was a fried chicken with a bit of bacon. Both burgers were delicious and both come with a side of salad and fries. You also get a choice of, chipotle or pesto, mayo. Lots of parking outside. There’s also a small boutique where you can purchase some beers to go some glasses and apparel. Consider making a reservation because when we arrived, we had a set amount of time before we needed to leave for the reserved table.

"text": "Unfortunately they don't except dogs even in their backyard. At 11h I asked if it is possible to sit with my dog ( no other person was there) and the answer was NO!. I asked if I can order something for take out because I am not allowed in with my dog, the answer was no. The woman was not even trying to help me. My dog is part of my family! So please change your policy or you will lose clients.",
