My girlfriend and I recently visited Luckhurst Farm & Distillery, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. We had the pleasure of meeting Joe, who guided us through a tasting that included both neat spirits and cocktails. Naturally, we tried both—and it was clear this place is one of Kelowna's hidden gems. With the cocktail tasting, Joe went above and beyond, mixing everything right in front of us and explaining all the ingredients in detail. What made it even more special was the personal touch he brought to the experience. Each label told a story about an important figure in his family, and hearing those stories while sipping the spirits gave the experience a heartwarming, meaningful depth. To top it all off, Joe personally gave us a tour of the farm. It’s not something they always offer, but if you’re lucky enough to get the chance, it’s an absolute treat. Meeting the animals and seeing the farm up close added an extra layer of charm to an already amazing visit. You can truly see the passion that Joe has for his craft. Stay tuned for 2027. He mentioned he’ll be “brewing” something special.
