Great place to visit, and kid friendly! We visited on a very rainy day so didn't get to see much of the grounds, but the tasting room was great. Very helpful staff and nice to see a kids menu and non-alcoholic drinks flight. Well worth a visit.

"text": "A true Island Gem!\n\nRecently stoped in for an afternoon visit during a road trip from Alberta. The quality of food provided was spectacular, even the dessert was top quality. We enjoyed a tasting flight of a Cider. The staff truly enjoy their work place and it shows in the quality of service provided. Knowledgeable and passionate and helpful in every way. We look forward to returning when the orchard trees are full of fruit. The beauty of the fields I’m sure will prove to be stunning when in bloom.",

"text": "What a great experience at Merridale today. We have been there many times, and today we brought our friend visiting from Tokyo. We were greeted by a gentleman who opened the door for us, engaged with us and made us feel very welcome. He then took us for a tasting and told us his job title was “story teller” and he had an interesting story or anecdote for everything! After our tasting we grabbed plastic cups of cider and wondered the property looking for their garden fairies, then headed to the restaurant for lunch- which was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed making a boring damp winter day in to a fun outing that everyone enjoyed!",

"text": "Arrived at Merridale yesterday afternoon with a lovely friend for the first time. I was blown away by the beautiful location, the Christmas decorations, and the wonderful staff. We had a fantastic dinner, sampled the variety of cider, and cocktails which were all tremendous. I purchased some cider and brandy, and can't wait to return to Merridale. A wonderful place for everyone.",
